The saying comes from an old story. When America and Spain were at war, President William McKinley sought assistance from Cuban rebels and he knew that General Calixto Garcia was the man for the job. He believed that Garcia was somewhere in Cuba, but he did not know where. He summoned a man named Lieutenant Andrew Rowan and told him to “Take the message to Garcia. Let him know that the President of the United States wants him.” It took three weeks of traveling through hostile, unfamiliar jungle terrain, but Lt. Rowan did his job. He did not complain. He did not ask the President how to find him, or how to survive on his own.

One motto has guided Micah Bailey through his life and career: “Get the Message to Garcia.”

Instead, Lt. Rowan found a way to get it done. He got the message to Garcia. This is what Micah Bailey does every day for his clients. He listens to his clients’ concerns, he analyzes their current situation and then finds a way to solve their problems. He focuses his practice on matters involving business-related claims, real estate litigation, cannabis business law and corporate transactions.

Micah Bailey graduated from the California Western School of Law in 2006 and was then admitted to both the California and Massachusetts state bars in 2007.

Before attending law school, Micah obtained his Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Oklahoma and spent three years in the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland as a midshipman. He served as a judicial clerk in the Superior Court of Massachusetts and as a judicial extern in the Southern District of California’s U.S. District Court prior to becoming partner at Purdy & Bailey, LLP When not practicing law, Mr. Bailey enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
